How is everything going? I am Li Hua, the monitor of the class which you are teaching. I am writing to invite you to be the judge of the English speech contest to be held next week in our classroom.
The contest is scheduled to be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. next Monday afternoon. Its topic being I have a dream, the contest aims at inspiring students’ motivation as well as helping them establish appropriate goals. What you are required to do is to make short comments on every speech and award the winners with certificates in the end.
So exciting will the contest be that you will feel pitiful if you miss it. I would appreciate it if you could accept my sincere invitation. I am eagerly awaiting your early reply.
